Man alive, it's sure uncommonly HOT in Kentucky.

So hot as a matter of fact, that our bluegrass is turning brown.  Hotter still than an F-18 with twin afterburners in Pensacola and as hot or hotter than JD pickin' "I'm in the Jailhouse Now",

We're into our 15th 90 degree or better day and it's not even July yet!  Wish el nina would go back to momma and daddy nino would return.

Boy am I gonna' hate seein' the light bill this month.

It's SO HOT in Mid TN that a farmers corn crop popped into a 3 foot deep popcorn field. His mules froze to death cos they thought it was snowing.

So hot here in Yellowstone some of the snow melted.  So hot my furnace hardly turned on overnight.  So hot I didn't wear my flleece vest under my jacket.  So hot I didn't need gloves for my walk this morning.

Yup, definitely summer, I think we almost hit 65 deg today.

It's so hot, I don't care. I'm on vacation this week.

It's been muggy and high 80's here in the West part of the Mitten.

 I'm working on avoiding the honey do list and all things productive, altho I did take the trash out this morning (some things can't wait). I'm probably gonna wander over to the Lake Michigan shore, 20 miles from home and do a bikini count and let the breeze off the water blow past me and create a summer moment to mark in my mind for the coming winter.  There is a couple of small county parks with beach access that don't get alot of people visiting. It makes for a nicer experience than the popular tourist vacation places. How many things close to you in your area are there and you never seem to get to take the time to check them out--I bet we all have some. Sometimes the simpler things are longer lasting.

If I can must up the energy, I might wander over to the Charlotte Mich BGF later this week and watch some good bands.        registered

I t got so hot here, my snow shovel melted. Dan, keep us posted on the count. When me and Slackjaw made the trip over there, i'm not sure we got a accurate count. After a dozen cold ones, we started seeing double.

It's so hot here I saw a funeral procession pull into a Dairy Queen. Saw two trees fighting over a dog.

Mrs. Doc is in Hartford this week and says it's downright comfy up there.

BTW- has anyone ever spent vacation in the Cape Cod area? We're looking into it for August (but I'd rather go while the Cape Cod Baseball League is still playing).

Yow! Seattle is hoping to hit 75* today for the first time since last September...

It was so hot yesterday that I didn't wear my long underwear for the first time since last August...

If it gets to 75 today, we are quitting early and heading for the shady bar!

We are under a Heat Advisory and an Excessive Heat Warning......it means it is hot.

Dennisport is nice, about halfway down the cape, easy to hit all the areas.  Ptown, is something of an artist colony with all that entails.  Beaches are great, but water might be a little cooler than what you are used to.  I have mainly camped there, but lots of nice bed and breakfasts. 

Lots of great seafood!

Thanks Bill- I bought a DVD about the Cape Cod Baseball League and there was a special features DVD with it that gave a quick tour of the area. I'd love to go and spend a week but convincing the Minister of Finance and Travel is going to be an uphill battle. She wants to go to the Carib islands- she just can't decide which one.

 St. Martin is nice, Doc.  Half French, half Dutch.  Stay on the Dutch side where you can spend dollars, eat on the French side where the food is amazing.  Bikini count is pretty darn good too.

I have fond memories of my early baseball experiences too.  Mostly sand lot before everyone got so good and the distractions of teenageism and loose women set in.

Why, it's hotter than a 3 legged fox in a forest fire!
