Before I get into the topic, Squeezy Pig is AWESOME!  I haven't been on here for a while and assume this is old news but have you squeezed the pig today?

The annual Gathering of Resonateurs or ResoGat  for short will be July 7-10 in Wilkesboro, NC at the Holiday Inn Express.  It isn't too late to attend, maybe too late for the special dobro room rates but the event itself is free and we invite all dobro players and other players to come jam with us.  It is 4 days of non stop dobro stuff.  Join us if you can.

I would like to thank our host, Mr Jerry Douglas for his terrific gift donated to us this year.  We are thinking about the best way to use it to raise funds for next years event expenses.  One thought is a silent auction and to open it up to the JDBB.  First, I suppose we need permission from our host to post it on the board so I won't say more for now except that it is a piece of dobro history that any JD fan would love to own.

And now, I will leave you to ponder this and hope that JD will respond with an A-OK saying 'go for it'!  And, thanks to you Mr Douglas for the help with ResoGat.

Shpidey, those are good guess but think better than that!  Looks like there is no interest in it here, I will give it a couple more days then we will just raffle it at ResoGat.  I will give you a hint........it was used at this year's Merlefest!
