Julie, are you and anyone else going to see David Grisman at the Birchmere on July 18th?  I have never seen Grismand in concert. 

 Get me a pick!  I met David at a vintage guitar show about 15 years ago.  I was selling a "Strad O Lin" mandolin, which was gorgeous, it had genuine tortoise shell pickguard and tailpiece.  probably should have kept it.  Anyway, Dawg comes by my booth and picks up the mando and jams for about 15 minutes.  He says "I'd like to add that one to my collection, I'll be back..."  Oh well, I got a picture of him playing it.  I love all of his theme CDs, Tone Poems.  All winners.
